Job description

IT Support is responsible for performing secure data wiping on hard drives using industry-standard tools (e.g., DBAN, Blancco, diskpart).

Ensure compliance with data security protocols and regulations.

Verify and document successful data erasure.

Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware issues related to storage devices.

Properly dispose of or repurpose wiped drives per company policy.

Maintain accurate inventory of processed drives.

Qualifications:
Experience in IT support, computer repair, or data security.

Familiarity with data sanitization tools and techniques.

Basic knowledge of hard drive types (HDD, SSD, NVMe) and file systems.

Ability to follow strict security protocols.

Ability to free up space on hard drive/improve performance and speed.

Keep track of inventory. Depose of E-Waste and track serial numbers

Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
