REQUIRED EXPEREINCE
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 11, 10, Linux operating systems.
  • Office 365 administration including creating and maintaining user accounts.
  • Active Directory experience - creating and maintaining users and workgroups.
  • Familiarity with creating mapped network drives and granting/limiting network access.
  • Experience with Windows Server Administration and VMware (Physical and Virtual Server experience).
  • Familiarity with DHCP.
  • Manage performance and maintains security of LANS and vLANS.
  • Monitor various internal network connections to ensure availability to system users. Diagnose and repair problems as identified.
  • Continually evaluates operating practices to determine if controls and security measures are adequate.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests for assistance about the organization's PCs. Identify problems, troubleshoot, and provide advice to assist users and coordinate with other Departments to resolve problems when necessary.
  • Administer security measures to restrict unauthorized use of data systems and databases.
  • Familiarity with PC builds and deployment.
  • Experience with MFA.
  • Familiarity with 802.11ax.
  • Assist with technology investigation through ongoing research of new equipment and/or software.
  • Able to articulate technical issues and ideas to people at all levels of technical understanding.

Requirements
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems discipline or an equivalent contribution of education and experience.
• Three to five years of customer service or support experience and knowledge of customer-service techniques and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent people skills - ability to successfully interact with users in a problem-solving environment. Adapts quickly to change.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• This role includes regular walking, bending, and sitting as well the ability to operate a computer and production equipment.
• Must be capable of occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be capable of reading letters, numbers and symbols in fonts even smaller than 8-point.
