Job description

Computed Tomography (CT) Tech (Contract)

Location: California 93301
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Pay: $2,473 – $2,770/week


Schedule
  • Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

  • Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday

  • 36 hours/week (3x12s)

  • Call: Daily coverage 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM


Position Summary & Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images

  • Perform CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures

  • Generate reformatted (sagittal/coronal) images for interpretation

  • Upload and manage imaging via PACS/teleradiology (Cerner, Mach7)

  • Ensure image accuracy, patient safety, and HIPAA compliance

  • Maintain records, billing data, and equipment calibration

  • Support patient care (adolescent–geriatric) and assist as needed


Requirements
  • Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)

  • Certifications/Licensure:

    • ARRT (R)(CT) or ARRT (R) – Required

    • California Radiologic Tech License – Required

    • CRT – Required

    • BLS (AHA or ARC) – Required

    • Fluoroscopy License (CA) – Required if applicable

    • Venipuncture Certification – Preferred
