What You Will Do:

The Managing Consultant, Life Sciences Technology Consulting - Market Access, plays a critical role in leading the delivery of technology and analytics-enabled solutions that support market access organizations. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day project execution, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful implementation of platforms, data products, and workflow solutions that enable pricing and contracting operations, reimbursement processes, and access decision-making.

The Managing Consultant partners closely with clients to translate strategic objectives into actionable technology solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery, operational efficiency, and strong client satisfaction through scalable, platform-based solutions that operationalize data and insights within business workflows.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of market access technology projects, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and risks to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams including developers, data engineers, product managers, and analytics specialists to deliver integrated technology solutions.

  • Serve as the primary client contact for delivery execution, managing expectations, providing updates, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Support the design and implementation of technology solutions including pricing and contracting platforms, contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, revenue management tools, access data platforms, and reimbursement workflow systems.

  • Translate business needs into technical requirements, user stories, and solution designs, and facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders.

  • Enable pricing and contracting operations through implementation of platforms supporting contract management, performance tracking, rebate processing, and scenario modeling capabilities.

  • Support system configuration, integration, and deployment to ensure seamless data flow and operational performance across platforms.

  • Monitor delivery performance and drive continuous improvement across project execution, solution quality, and team effectiveness.

  • Support business development through proposal contributions, solution design, and client presentations.

  • Build relationships with technology vendors and ecosystem partners and mentor junior team members to support delivery excellence and team development.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technology consulting, product delivery, or life sciences technology roles.

  • Proven track record of managing complex technology projects and delivering solutions in a client-facing environment.

  • Experience implementing platforms and systems supporting pricing, contracting, reimbursement, or access operations.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH, or similar) is preferred.

  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

  • Familiarity with pricing and contracting operations, including contract lifecycle management (CLM), rebate management, and access-related data (claims, formulary, policy data).

  • Experience with data platforms, system integrations, APIs, and workflow automation tools.

  • Experience with cloud-based platforms, data visualization tools, and AI/ML-enabled applications.

  • Prior consulting experience in life sciences technology delivery.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$216,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
