Job Description 25-080 SAP Authorization Specialist Resume Due Date: Thursday, May 15, 2025 Number of Vacancies: 1 Level: MP6 Hourly Rate: $85 - 100/hour Duration: 6 Months Hours: 35 Location: 1908 Colonel Sam Dr (100% remote) Job Overview Design, implement, and maintain user roles, authorizations, and profiles in SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, BW, BPC, SuccessFactors, and SAP Workforce software systems. Support user provisioning and de-provisioning processes, including troubleshooting access issues and segregation of duties (SoD) conflicts. Conduct periodic reviews of access controls and user authorizations to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with internal audit and external auditors to support audit requests and evidence gathering related to SAP access controls. Perform security impact assessments for system changes and new functionality. Monitor and manage GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) tools, if applicable.

Support the implementation, improvement and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting (ICOFR). Support SAP security activities in major projects, including system upgrades, new implementations, and integrations. Stay up to date on SAP security best practices and emerging technologies.

Develop and maintain documentation on security model and access control processes. Provide backup support to SAP transport management when needed. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Relevant certifications (e.g., SAP Security, GRC, CISA) preferred. Experience: Minimum 7 years of hands-on SAP security and authorizations experience. Strong experience with SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, SAP BW, BPC, SuccessFactors, and Workforce software

Proven expertise in supporting IT audits and internal controls over financial reporting. Experience with GRC Access Control, SoD conflict resolution, and audit remediation. Project-based SAP implementation and upgrade experience is an asset.

Skills & Competencies: In-depth knowledge of SAP ECC, EC, BW and BPC security concepts, role-based access control (RBAC), and authorization object structures. Knowledge of SAP Workforce authorization objects and structures. Strong understanding of business processes across finance, HR, and operations.

Ability to analyze and resolve complex security and authorization issues. Familiarity with SOX and other compliance frameworks. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent customer service skills Knowledge of Identify IQ and ServiceHub is an asset. Preferred Certifications: SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP System Security and Authorizations SAP GRC Access Control Certification.
