Job Description Role: Simulator Support - Modelling Contract Duration: 12 months with high chance of annual renewal Location: Remote, client location - Tiverton, ON Appendix A - Scope of Work To provide Managed Task Services to client as directed by, and according to the timelines established by Morson's Director, Nuclear Projects as per Morson's Task Orders. The work can be completed at the Consultant's office, the Client's office or the Morson office. Consultant personnel will perform the following types of services: In general, design, implement, document and test changes to the existing Simulator modeling software to improve fidelity with regard to station operation, to meet training requirements, to implement station changes in the simulator or to increase the capability of the simulator.

Specifically: implement, document and test changes to the existing Simulator modeling software to improve fidelity with regard to station operation, to meet training requirements and to increase the capability of the simulator, following the standards and practices established by the Simulator Support section. Monitor, design, implement, document and test simulator modelling software solutions for station equipment or station process changes that impact simulator fidelity and training, following the standards and practices established by the Simulator Support section. Perform and document simulator validation activities to verify simulator model performance against station performance or against safety report data, following the standards and practices established by the Simulator Support section.

Upgrade existing simulator models using a variety of modeling technology, following the standards and practices established by the Simulator Support section. The modelling technology to be used includes but is not limited to: Western Services Corporation modelling tools including Flowbase and 3KEYMASTER RELAP5 GSE Systems modelling tools including JTopmeret and RELAP5 FORTRAN Consistently improve simulator processes and practices to improve quality and efficiency. Participate in larger simulator modification projects involving multiple simulator disciplines.

Deliver work to established Simulator Support schedule and standards. Complete a minimum of 4 Simulator Work Requests per month. Applicable Governing Documents SECSIMM00001, Simulator Validation; SECSIMM00002, Simulator Change Control; and SECSIMM00003, Simulator Capability and Fidelity Requirements.

Description of Task Completion Methodology Simulator Technical assignments from the scope of work identified in Section A4 may include any topic the Consultant is judged competent to support by the Section Manager, Simulator Support and will be assigned on the basis of the needs of the business by the Section Manager, Simulator Support or appointed delegate. Consultant personnel will execute their duties using best practice simulator engineering techniques and will consistently look for ways to improve simulator processes and practices to improve quality, performance, and efficiency. Contractors may work on site or remotely dependent on type of work being performed.
