Job Description
Adjunct CNA instructor work with nurse aide students in clinical, laboratory or classroom areas as assigned by the Division Chair of Allied Health. These CNA instructors are registered nurses who have acquired significant competence and practical experience in the nursing field. They guide and teach nurse aide students, evaluating student performance and providing feedback.

Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Registered nurse who possesses a minimum of two years of nursing experience, at least one year of which shall be in the provision of long-term care facility services.
  • Registered nurse shall have completed a course in teaching adults or have experience teaching adults or supervising nurse aides
  • Unencumbered nursing licensure

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with state and national nursing education standards
  • Train-the-Trainer certificate or other documentation of teaching adults or supervising nurse
