Job description

Summary
Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has immediate openings for part time Set Up/Tear Down Crew at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. This position is responsible for a multitude of physical tasks to change over the facility from event to event, helping to clean the building from event to event, and to keep up with the outside grounds maintenance as required. May be subject to adverse weather conditions in this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Set up, align, and strike portable chairs, tables, pipe & drape, staging, and bleachers.
  • Help maintain the outside grounds including lawn care and snow removal as needed.
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the building as needed.
  • Use various mechanical equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, buffers, carpet cleaners, etc. as needed.
  • Empty trash receptacles.
  • Perform tasks as required by your supervisor or manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age and demonstrate the ability to read, write, hear, and speak English.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.

Physical Demands:
  • Constant standing, walking, and stooping. Constant reaching and handling products.
  • Ability to climb stairs.
  • Daily lifting and/or carrying up to 50lbs for up to 5 minutes at a time.
  • May require irregular hours including nights, weekend and/or holidays as determined by event schedule.
  • May be subject to adverse weather conditions.
