Lund Truck Parts is looking to hire Tear Down Technicians.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tear Down Technician/Engineer to join our Research and Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for dismantling and analyzing electronic devices and technology products to gain insights into their design, components, and manufacturing processes. Your findings will be crucial for product improvement, competitive analysis, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Device Disassembly: Disassemble various electronic devices and technology products carefully, ensuring components are preserved for analysis.

  2. Component Identification: Identify and document the individual components used in the dissected devices, including chips, sensors, connectors, and more.

  3. Technical Documentation: Create detailed reports and documentation of the tear-down process, including photographs, diagrams, and written analysis.

  4. Analysis and Testing: Conduct tests and measurements on the components and subsystems to assess their performance and functionality.

  5. Data Analysis: Analyze the collected data to draw conclusions about the product's design, quality, and potential improvements.

  6. Competitive Benchmarking: Compare our products with competitor devices to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for innovation.

  7. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and product managers, to translate tear-down insights into actionable improvements.

  8. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during the tear-down process.

Qualifications:
