First Team Toyota is a large volume Dealership. There is ample opportunity to earn great, steady income. And plenty of opportunities to advance within the Company! If you are looking for a career, this is where it can start!
Summary: Support Sales and Service Department operations by cleaning and detailing New and Pre-Owned Vehicles and Service Vehicles.
Essential Duties:
- Wash Vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down doorjambs.
- Apply waxes, polishes, etc.
- Vacuum interior of Vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
- Apply various cleaning and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals.
- Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
- Apply special-purpose cleaners, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations.
- Apply dressing on tires and tire wells.
- Replace all traces of any protective films or coverings applied for shipment or service.
- Maintain Showroom or Stock Vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times.
- Remove all window stickers on Sold Vehicles.
- Keep shop area neat and clean.
- Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
- Attend all Dealership and Service Department meetings when requested.
- Provide exceptional Customer Service.

Experience and Skills
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Adherence to all attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Adherence to timekeeping standards; Employees are required to record the beginning and ending times of any shift, meal break or departure from work for personal reasons.
  • Maintains a professional clean and pressed business appearance.
  • Follow the Code of Business Ethics and Conduct.
Qualifications:
  • Pass background check and drug screening
  • Possess a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
Working Conditions:
This physically demanding position requires frequent movement; i.e. bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and getting into and out of various vehicles repeatedly during the work shift.
