Job Summary
At Toyota Lift of Houston we are driven to provide the best sales and service organization in South Texas. We’re seeking a high-performing sales leader who can help us grow and develop our motive power customer base and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. The ideal sales manager will be a strong player-coach, have extensive experience with the entire sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing. We’re looking for a quick learner who has strong negotiations skills, someone with a successful track record who can inspire the same performance in others. The role demands a leader who has a sharp mind and an ability to coach, advise, and motivate while building and maintaining a high performing team.

Essential Functions
  • Meet with potential clients and develop long-lasting relationships that address their needs.
  • Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Present our company’s capabilities from the plant floor to the C-Suite.
  • Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings.
  • Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions address them.
  • Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts.
  • Generate leads and establish and nurture client relationships.
  • Identify emerging markets and market trends while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Sell all facets of Toyota Lift of Houston including, but not limited to, industrial batteries and chargers, battery and charger service, and aftermarket parts.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to the sales team, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high performance, and ethical behavior.
  • Represent Toyota Lift of Houston in a professional manner while maintaining a positive attitude and acting in a moral and ethical manner.
  • Actively promote safety and the enforcement of safety rules and policies, including the proper disposal of hazardous waste or scrap and materials.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Superb leadership ability
  • Successful previous experience as a sale representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • 3+ years commercial or industrial sales experience
  • Experience with industrial battery and charger products and service preferred.
  • Confident, aggressive lead generator – hunter mentality
  • Successful track record in sales – consistent Top Performer
  • Excellent time management skills include prioritization of tasks, communication, and execution to meet established deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and multi-task skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
