Chaplain **Contract Position**
Bridgewater Park Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Chaplain to support our team and help foster a positive, engaging workplace culture. This role plays an important part in enhancing employee morale, engagement, and retention. If you have a passion for supporting others and providing meaningful guidance, we encourage you to apply.
Position Overview:
The primary purpose of this role is to provide spiritual support and consultation to staff, offering encouragement and serving as an advocate for employees in both their professional and personal lives. The Chaplain will contribute to a supportive environment where team members feel valued, heard, and cared for.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide advice, counsel and support for the facility staff on spiritual and/or other matters.
  • Provide assistance and advice to administration on ethical healthcare concerns.
  • Make resident rounds informing of spiritual care services available.
  • Interview and counsel staff who require/request spiritual counseling services.
  • Be available by telephone for any special problems that may develop.
  • Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, positive emphasis and a calm environment throughout the facility.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all staff and their spiritual care.
