Job Title: Technical Lead 1, Analytics
Compensation: $85,000 to $105,000
Location:Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
Adswerve is seeking a Technical Lead, Analytics to join our Analytics Services team. In this role, you will serve as a technical subject matter expert alongside our consulting team, designing and executing robust enterprise tracking solutions for our clients.
The ideal candidate thrives on solving complex data collection challenges, with specialized expertise in Tealium, data layer design, and advanced tag management. You will brainstorm creative, scalable architectures for web, mobile, and app products across Google, Adobe and Amplitude.
Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy end-to-end analytics tracking solutions across web, mobile, and single-page applications (SPAs) primarily using Tealium (and other enterprise Tag Management Systems).
  • Maintain, develop, and standardize data layers and Solution Design References (SDRs) across complex, multi-brand digital properties.
  • Configure tracking pixels, custom variables, and event triggers within the TMS to support complex analytics, data privacy, and marketing use cases.
  • Partner closely with client engineering and web development teams to translate tracking requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.
  • Rigorously test and validate tracking end-to-end, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance across all platforms before deployment.
  • Provide technical guidance to clients and internal consultants throughout the project lifecycle, from initial presales scoping and effort estimation to final delivery.
  • Remotely mentor junior team members on analytics engineering practices, JavaScript, mobile app tracking methodologies, and privacy/consent management.
  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation and contribute to Adswerve's internal tracking standards and implementation best practices.
  • Participate in creating technical blog posts, webinars, or case studies to help elevate Adswerve's market presence in non-GMP analytics technologies.
Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in Digital Analytics, Analytics Engineering, or AdTech.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing enterprise analytics solutions, with deep, proven expertise in Tealium (iQ / EventStream).
  • Experience with additional enterprise analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics/Launch, Segment, Amplitude).
  • Strong fluency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS specifically tailored for web/mobile analytics deployment and DOM manipulation.
  • Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable data layers and translate business requirements into technical SDRs.
  • Solid understanding of mobile app tracking methodologies (iOS/Android SDKs) and single-page application (SPA) behaviors.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of explaining complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholder

This position pays a base salary of $85,000 to $105,000 per year. Wage differential is based on training and experience.
