COMPENSATION: Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement located on the DY website.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Be a positive role model and exhibit good behavior, management skills, and respectful interactions with staff and students.
  • Teacher of record will work with other staff members to manage a second-grade classroom.
  • Data collection, progress monitoring, report writing, parent engagement, work as grade level "team member" and other program responsibilities.
  • Must keep students safe and secure at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • MA DESE license in Elementary Education.
  • Master degree preferred.
  • Experience working with children is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Must be dependable, organized and communicate well with staff, students and parents.
  • Must be flexible and participate as part of the team.
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
