Job description

Seasonal (SEAS) Position

Job Description:

Is responsible for the safety and well-being of participants in a recreational Learn to Skate Program. Instruct HYCC Skating School Learn to Skate Program in accordance with Learn to Skate USA, USFS, and HYCC standards, with the philosophies set forth by the Town of Barnstable.

Minimum Qualifications:

PR & First Aid Certification. Learn to Skate USA Instructor Membership. USFS Membership. Experience teaching in a Learn to Skate Program.

Additional Qualifications:

Knowledge of policies, procedures, and teaching methods for a Learn to Skate Program. Ability to deal with the public and staff tactfully and patiently. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to handle multiple and varied tasks. Advanced level skating skills. Good communication skills
