Summary
Pay: $14.00-$20.00/hour, based on education and experience


Schedule: Monday-Friday


We are looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our
team at our Watkinsville, Athens, and Bogart locations. As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll
play a key role in creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging classroom. You’ll bring
learning to life through hands-on activities, ensure a safe and caring environment, and
build meaningful connections with children and families. This is a wonderful opportunity to
grow your skills, make a lasting impact, and be part of a team that makes a difference every
day.


Responsibilities
• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering daily lessons and routines using the Frog
Street curriculum
• Assist with caregiving tasks, including diapering, toileting, and meal routines
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• Assist with classroom management and encourage positive behavior
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, rest time, and transitions
• Foster relationships with students and families through kind, professional
interactions
• Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and school policies


Qualifications
• CDA, TCC, or experience working toward an early childhood education credential
preferred
• GED or High School Diploma required
• At least 6 months of experience in a licensed childcare setting (or strong desire to
learn)
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Must pass all required background checks and meet DECAL requirements
• A team-player attitude with a love for working with children
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stay actively engaged throughout the day
