Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Strong understanding of insurance data domains: policy, claims, billing, underwriting, actuarial, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with Data Architecture - Data Products, Semantic Layer, Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Catalog, Data Quality
• Strong understanding of RAG, Agentic AI, LLM Orchestration, Vector Databases
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, AWS Glue, Snowflake).
• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and data warehousing.
• Experience with tools like SQL, Python, Spark, Informatica, Talend, DataStage
• Experience working with CIOs/CDOs on defining data strategies, data modernization, AI/GenAI adoption strategies
Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop a deep understanding of customer landscape/objective and drive Data & AI growth by identifying opportunities, shaping solutions, creating compelling proposals, and presenting business value to executive stakeholders
• Bring industry trends and emerging technology perspectives to customer discussions
• Lead end-to-end solutioning for Data and AI opportunities
• Understand TCS Data solutions/offerings and help to contextualize it for the customer
• Define target-state architecture and transformation roadmap
• Develop enterprise data models that support core insurance functions such as policy administration, claims processing, billing, and reinsurance.
• Evaluate Tool & technologies, run proof of concept and propose technology options and solutions to the client.

• Define data integration strategies across internal systems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek) and third-party data providers (e.g., ISO, LexisNexis).
• Drive solutions for data quality, lineage, and governance in compliance with industry regulations (e.g., NAIC, SOX).
• Support advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and AI/ML initiatives by ensuring data readiness and accessibility.
