Installation Deployment Support Operations Planner and Analyst
The Opportunity:
As an expert in defense missions, your unique skill set inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don't. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to help solve some of our clients' most complex problems-and find solutions that keep our nation safe.
As an Installation Deployment Support Operations Planner and Analyst you'll bring your transportation and mobility expertise to determine and assess operational deployment readiness requirements background to collaborate with thought leaders in multinational, Joint, Army, and commercial agencies through the Joint Logistics Enterprise on projects for unit movement operations. You'll use your skills as you plan, organize, and supervise the preparation and execution of unit movement and distribution operations.

You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience with U.S. Army operational or sustainment planning and executing of Mobilization Operations, Deployments Operations, Sustainment Operations, Redeployment Operations, Combat Training Center (CTC) rotations, Deployment Exercise rotations, Joint Event Lifecycle (JELC) exercises, or Joint Logistic Over-The-Shore (JLOTS)
  • Experience with the integration of ATP 3-35 and ATP 5-2-1 Appendix J into Unit Movement planning
  • Experience working at or with Installation Transportation Office (ITO), Corps Transportation Office (CTO), Division Transportation Office (DTO), and Composition 3 Deployment and Distribution Support Team (DDST)
  • Knowledge of Joint Operational Planning and Execution System (JOPES)
  • Knowledge of the Army Message Handling System (AMHS)
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with working on or with former U.S. Army Deployment Support Team (DST)
  • Experience working in or being assigned to the PACOM Area of Operations (AOR)
  • Graduate of the Unit Movement Officer Deployment Planning Course
  • Graduate of TC-AIMS II course taught and approved by the US Army Transportation School
  • Graduate of Hazardous Material Certification Course
  • Graduate of the Air Deployment Planning Course
  • Completion of Military Education level IV Course

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
