After completing the Fundamentals of Tax Preparation course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge necessary to prepare basic-level individual income tax returns — you may even be able to supplement your income by working as a paid tax preparer during tax season! 
This year's tax school is Tuesday and Thursday, in Lubbock, from 5:30p.m. to 8:30p.m. Starts on Tuesday, Sept 15th and Ends on Thursday, October 8th. After successful completion of the Tax School you can apply to be a Tax Pro for the 2026 / 2027 Tax Season, with possible full-time opportunities.
