Job description

Senior Accountant (Bilingual Japanese)

Our client is a late stage SaaS company in NYC that is experiencing significant year over year growth and is in the process of international expansion. They are looking to hire a Senior Accountant will work closely with the Controller to handle day-to-day accounting, month end close, and financial reporting, as well as liasing with the team overseas on business decisions and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly close process including financial statement review and analysis
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations
  • Manage cash and bank statements reconciliation on a daily basis
  • Perform operational analysis as directed by management
  • Assist with development and implementation of accounting procedures and controls
  • Support the year-end audit, preparation of tax returns and other external reporting requirements
  • Oversee T&E review and approval process
  • Liaise with team overseas

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of accounting experience
  • Bilingual in English and Japanese
  • Additional preference for candidates with public accounting work experience
