Our Bakery Logistics Supervisor supports Tatte's mission to inspire, care for, and nurture life every day by overseeing non production bakery operations in partnership with the Bakery Operations Manager. This role plays an important part in supporting food safety, sanitation, logistics, purchasing, inventory management, and operational efficiency throughout the bakery while ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.
The Bakery Logistics Supervisor partners closely with bakery leadership, café teams, logistics teams, and facilities teams to support strong operational execution, team development, and exceptional service across all bakery operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESWe expect our Bakery Logistics Supervisors to:- Lead with professionalism, accountability, and operational excellence
- Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation, organization, and compliance
- Support and develop logistics, sanitation, receiving, and maintenance team members
- Communicate effectively and build strong working relationships across teams

- Have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
Summary of Responsibilities- Maintain safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards throughout the bakery in compliance with company, local, state, and federal guidelines
- Support non production staffing needs including onboarding, scheduling, development, and accountability of logistics related team members
- Assist with purchasing, receiving, and inventory management processes
- Lead weekly inventory counts and assist with troubleshooting inventory variances
- Partner with bakery leadership to support labor management, operational planning, and waste reduction
- Oversee logistics operations and maintain strong relationships with café leadership teams
- Provide timely and professional customer service via phone, email, and in person communication
- Ensure all bakery vehicles are properly maintained and compliant with applicable regulations
- Resolve operational and café concerns in a timely manner
- Partner with Facilities and Maintenance teams regarding bakery repairs and maintenance
- Participate in management meetings and support communication of operational updates and initiatives
- Maintain understanding of and follow crisis management procedures
Other related assignments as necessary
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / WORKING CONDITIONS- Ability to stand for extended periods of time throughout shifts
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to grasp and reach overhead
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCERequired- Licensed and able to drive Tatte delivery trucks as needed
Fluent in English, written and verbal
Preferred- 2+ years of experience within medium to large scale foodservice environments
- Experience leading logistics, receiving, sanitation, or driving teams
- Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, Department of Health, DOT, or other regulatory standards
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices
- Experience implementing and maintaining operational systems and processes
Experience building and mentoring high performing teams
Spanish fluency strongly preferred
