Position Description


Tata Electronics is seeking an Associate Technical Program Manager (Associate TPM) to support the planning, coordination, and execution of complex technical programs across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and customer teams. This role is ideal for candidates with internship experience or up to two years of relevant professional experience who are interested in developing a career in program management within a dynamic electronics manufacturing environment.


The Associate TPM will work closely with experienced program managers and cross-functional teams to support program execution, track project milestones, coordinate activities, and help drive successful product development and manufacturing outcomes. This role offers exposure to new product introduction (NPI), manufacturing operations, supply chain management, customer engagement, and technical project management.


The successful candidate will be highly organized, curious, data-driven, and eager to learn how complex consumer electronics programs are developed and brought to market.


Responsibilities

  • Support Technical Program Managers in the execution of product development and manufacturing programs.
  • Track project schedules, milestones, risks, issues, and action items.
  • Facilitate follow-up activities and maintain program documentation.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and Customer teams to gather updates and ensure alignment.
  • Prepare project status reports, dashboards, meeting notes, and executive summaries.
  • Help identify project risks and escalate issues requiring management attention.
  • Support product launch, NPI, validation, and manufacturing readiness activities.
  • Collect and analyze program data to support decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Assist with customer reviews, internal business reviews, and cross-functional meetings.
  • Learn and apply program management best practices, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Internship experience or up to 2 years of experience in project coordination, engineering, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or a related discipline.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and become proficient with new tools, applications, and technologies.


Desired Experience Level

  • Internship experience within electronics, manufacturing, technology, automotive, semiconductor, or related industries.
  • Exposure to project management tools such as Jira, Planner, Asana, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of product development, manufacturing, supply chain, or engineering processes.
  • Experience with data analysis or dashboard development.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
