What You'll Do
As a Tasting Room Associate, you are a hospitality ambassador and frontline storyteller-providing a transformational luxury experience to every guest who walks through our doors. You'll help bring our wines to life by offering expert service, sharing our rich history, and creating connections that linger long after the last sip.
Guest Experience & Hospitality
  • Greet and engage guests with warmth and enthusiasm, embodying the spirit of The Family of Silver Oak.
  • Guide tastings and (as needed) provide walking tours through winery production spaces, creating personalized, educational, and memorable visits.
  • Build strong product knowledge of our wines and communicate our winemaking philosophy, history, and legacy.
  • Offer thoughtful wine and merchandise recommendations, helping guests find the perfect bottle or gift.

Retail Operations & Presentation
  • Operate point-of-sale systems with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Pull, carry, and pack wine orders for guests.
  • Execute seasonal promotions, special releases, and merchandising updates with an eye for detail and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually compelling tasting room and retail space.
  • Assist with inventory spot checks, product restocking, and incoming wine and merchandise deliveries.

Team Collaboration & Events
  • Support colleagues during events, private tastings, and high-volume weekends.
  • Pitch in across departments and help with setup, cleanup, and service for events or internal meetings.
  • Remain flexible and ready to work at multiple winery locations as needed.

Requirements
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality, retail, or customer-facing roles (luxury or wine experience a plus).
  • A warm, engaging, and professional presence-both with guests and coworkers.
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills in a dynamic environment.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for wine, and a willingness to learn our wines and story in depth.
  • Comfort with physical activity and lifting (up to 40 lbs) throughout the day.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
