Job description

As a Building Services and Maintenance Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the proper operation, safety, and preservation of facilities by performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs. You will help provide a functional, safe, and compliant environment for building occupants. More specifically, you will:

  • Actively participate in the general maintenance of the building, including seasonal exterior maintenance;
  • Perform various minor repairs, including adjustments, hardware work, plumbing tasks (that do not require a specific certification or license), painting, touch-ups, and other related maintenance work;
  • Complete deliveries, errands, and equipment transportation as required to support operational and property management needs;
  • Install, move, and assemble office furniture and accessories;
  • Install light equipment to support teams, production activities, and projects;
  • Manage inventories of maintenance supplies and coffee products to ensure continuous availability;
  • Comply with occupational health and safety standards and procedures;
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Valid driver's licence (asset);
  • Basic manual dexterity, including the ability to drill, screw, and perform simple repair tasks;
  • Ability to perform physical work and repeatedly lift loads of up to approximately 20 lb (9 kg);
