Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Task Manager to serve on a Commander's Action Group (CAG) supporting our customer at Fort Meade, MD. The senior task manager will be part of a close team that is required to achieve the customer's long-term vision, translating strategic intent into operational execution and ensuring the precision of executive communications across the complex, multi-faceted ecosystem required to achieve the customer's mission. 

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the life cycle management of all tasks, synchronization of the Task Force's (TF) battle rhythm, and knowledge management, ensuring the TFs multi-faceted mission is tracked, displayed, and executed in accordance with the mission.
  • Manage the Task Management Tool (TMT) life cycle, ensuring requirements from higher headquarters are distributed, tracked, and closed with precision.
  • Synchronize battle rhythm events, coordinating meetings, conferences, and reporting cycles.
  • Develop visual aids for multi-domain scenarios.
  • Translate complex network diagrams and AI architectures into intuitive visual aids for non-technical senior leaders.
  • Ensure all outward-facing communications are consistent with Combatant-level standards and higher headquarters' messaging.
  • Drafts executive-level speeches, talking points, and white papers.
  • Develop comprehensive technical summaries of AI capabilities for use in the Commander's decision process.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • BS and ten (10) years or more of related experience; four (4) years of additional work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Previous military Officer or Senior NCO with Cross-Functional Team experience (O-4/E-7 or higher) or Intelligence Professional with Cross-Functional Team experience (GG-13 or higher).
  • Deep understanding of the military staffing process and the command and control tools that enable data-enabled visualization of organizational outcomes.
  • Expert-level experience in Enterprise task management systems (ETMS) and staff coordination within a large command structure.

Required Clearances:

  • Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance and CI Polygraph.  Polygraph must have been completed within the last five years.
