Job description

Job Summary :

The HR Assistant provides support to the Human Resources department with onboarding, recruiting coordination, organizing personnel files, and assist the receptionist as needed. This is part-time role, Monday-Friday.

Essential Job Duties :

  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain employee files and HR records, both digital and physical.
  • Support recruiting efforts, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and training logistics, as well as overseeing DISA, Safety Council, and etc.
  • Help maintain supplies for employee files, new hire binders, company marketing supplies, etc.
  • Assist with keeping spreadsheets and HR reports current.
  • Provide onsite HR support, as needed.
  • Assist with employee events, compliance tasks, and special HR projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Receptionist coverage for lunches and as needed.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
