Description
Grounds Crew 2nd shift is a part-time position employed by Rose Music Center at the Heights. Grounds Crew maintains cleanliness during and immediately after an event at the Rose Music Center. We are seeking hardworking, determined people who work well in a group setting and individual setting and display skills of proactivity.
  • Work with Crew Leaders and a small team to keep the venue clean and in working order
  • Employees will be responsible for maintaining and emptying waste receptacles
  • Maintain stock levels in restrooms
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the grounds across the venue
  • Move necessary facility equipment including; temporary barricades, lounge furniture, beach umbrellas, tables, and chairs
  • Break down and store VIP seats in storage carts
  • Sweep, pick up, and dispose of scattered litter within the seated areas after the show ends
  • Occasionally perform various cleanups according to calls received over the radio
  • Detail and clean any necessary surfaces with chemical cleaner
  • Use the provided hands-free equipment to sanitize restrooms across the property
  • Active listening and talking via radio communication
  • Effectively convey information to Show Shift Managers on site
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
  • Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions, especially heat and rain, for a majority of a 4-8 hour shift
  • Understanding and willingness to work around events, including weekends and some holidays
  • Ability to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift, including stairs
  • Capability to lift up to 25 - 50lbs
  • Ability to work in a small group and individually
  • Capability to talk over radios

Available shifts
  • Start Times: 4:00pm-5:30pm, scheduled based on needs of shows
  • Duration: 4 - 8 hours

Pay: $14/hr
