WHAT YOU'LL DO
Our Facilities team creates a safe, comfortable and attractive work environment to ensure our Rain Makers have an inviting office to work from. We do so by maintaining buildings and property in quality condition through repairs and maintenance of buildings, furniture, fixtures and equipment.
Reports to: Facilities Manager
Location: Onsite at our Preston, WA office 5 days a week
Annual Bonus Potential: 7% - Eligibility is based on the company hitting annual financial targets.
Hourly Rate: $32 - $41 (depending on experience)
Note: New Hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.
  • Assist Facilities Manager in daily operations of repair and maintain campus buildings and grounds; promptly handles all maintenance problems within the department areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure that premises and equipment are well maintained, clean and safe at all times.
  • Respond to facility emergencies, including system failures, water leaks, and other urgent maintenance issues, which may require work outside of regularly scheduled hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Administer approved procedures as pertaining to assignment of tasks, use of equipment, safety, preventive maintenance and repairs.
  • Provide timelines and guidance to create alignment on efficient and prompt handling of all department work orders and requests.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, with continual emphasis on promoting employee health and safety.
  • Assists in training colleagues in trade skills such as drywall, patching/painting, mechanical diagnostics and light plumbing and electrical.
  • Relocate pallets and equipment operating forklift.
  • Operate Company vehicles to travel between facilities, warehouses, and other Company locations to perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
    Drive to obtain parts, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to support facility operations.
    Support facility projects by delivering, picking up, and relocating equipment, furniture, materials, and supplies.
  • Ensure food safety, quality, and SQF practices are followed at all times, advising your immediate manager of any food safety and/or quality issues.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • 10+ years of building maintenance and construction experience. Construction experience includes framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and finish work.
  • Building Operators Certification (BOC) preferred
  • Ability to maintain critical building systems through a preventative maintenance program.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) is preferred.
  • Experience operating a forklift, highly preferred.
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, occasionally working evenings and weekends for special assignments.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. repetitively, as well as to push and pull up to 100 lbs. regularly.

This role is safety-sensitive. This means that you'll be regularly responsible for your own safety and/or the safety of others (e.g., driving on behalf of the company, working in a warehouse or plant environment).

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Three Weeks of Vacation per calendar year. And that's just to start! Spend some time with us, and you'll accrue an additional week every few years, depending on your exempt status!
  • FMLA qualifying Rain Makers receive six weeks of paid parental leave. Parents get to spend time at home bonding with their new addition (whether it arrives by birth, fostering, or adoption). For birth mothers, additional time is provided for medical leave. Depending on the state in which you reside, additional time may also be available for parents who do not require medical leave.
  • Flexibility Stipend. For eligible Rain Makers, spend this extra monthly stipend as you wish, but know it's intended to contribute to things like your phone, internet or other business uses while working remotely or needs outside of normal working hours.
  • Relocation: Relocation Available (when available)
  • Onsite and Hybrid Rain Makers: Get paid to carpool! Drive to work with another Rain Maker every week at least 2X a week and receive mileage reimbursement.

    • Regional Sales Managers and Sales Directors - We use the leader in vehicle reimbursement solutions, Motus. This program provides a monthly fixed and variable rate that adheres to IRS guidelines for the business use of personal vehicles.

Please note, eligibility for our full benefits package is based on an average of 30+ hours per week in regular (not temporary) positions.
