The Talent Coordinator plays an important role in creating a professional, welcoming, and consistent employee experience at Fabuwood. This role owns new-hire orientation and supports Talent initiatives across onboarding, learning and development, employee engagement and recognition, and more. Working closely with the Talent Manager and team, this position brings strong organization, communication, judgment, and follow-through to programs that support employees throughout their experience at Fabuwood.

Location: Onsite, Newark NJ

Schedule: Full Time | M-Th 8AM-5PM, F 8AM-1PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery and coordination of new-hire orientation and onboarding, ensuring employees receive a welcoming, organized, and consistent start.
  • Coordinate learning and development programs, including logistics, participation, resources, follow-up.
  • Drive the execution of Talent-sponsored employee engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives.
  • Coordinate Talent communications, including the employee newsletter, ensuring content is clear, timely, accurate, and engaging.
  • Manage day-to-day Talent operations and employee requests, providing responsive support and ensuring needs are addressed or connected to the right resource.
  • Maintain Talent systems, resources, documentation, and reporting.
  • Coordinate assigned Talent projects from planning through completion, keeping priorities, stakeholders, and deliverables organized and on track.

Qualifications, Preferred

  • 2-4+ years of experience in HR, Talent, L&D, or a related people-focused environment.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to groups and working with employees and managers at all levels.
  • Professional presence, strong interpersonal skills, and a service-minded approach to employee support.
  • Strong attention to detail, judgment, and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Experience with task management tools such as Asana and learning management systems.
  • Strong interest in leveraging emerging technologies to improve processes, efficiency, operations.
