REPORTS TO: Managing Director, Per Scholas New York

You are a thought leader in the workforce development and tech-staffing space. You don't just react to the market; you anticipate it. You will serve as a high-level consultant to external partners-including Fortune 500 executives and civic leaders-while ensuring that, internally, our operational "supply chain" from classroom to career is seamless, data-driven, and scalable.

2. High-Level External Partnerships
  • Enterprise Account Architect: Personally manage and grow relationships with C-Suite executives and HR heads at New York's leading firms. You will move these partnerships beyond "one-off" hires to multi-year, revenue-generating talent pipelines.
    • You will also bring a rolodex of existing employer partner relationships
  • Prior employer partnerships, preferably in tech-enabled careers, with a track record of high-level employer relationship management.
  • Strategic Negotiations: Lead the design and execution of complex contracts, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and fee-for-service models that ensure Per Scholas is a preferred vendor for technical talent.
  • Advisory Board Engagement: Collaborate with the NY Advisory Board and employer councils to ensure Per Scholas remains the "first call" for enterprise-level tech hiring needs.
3. Cross-Functional Operations & Integration
  • Operational Bridge-Building: Act as the lead collaborator between Instruction, Admissions, and Professional Development. You ensure that what is being taught in the labs is exactly what the market is demanding, facilitating real-time curriculum feedback loops.
  • Systems Architect: Design and enforce the operational standards for the placement process. You own the "Standard Operating Procedures" (SOPs) that govern how graduates are vetted, matched, and presented to clients.
  • Change Management: Lead the NY team through the adoption of new technologies, placement methodologies, and market pivots (e.g., shifting focus toward AI or Cloud-specific roles).
4. Data Governance & Performance Analytics
  • Regional Accountability: Own the NY Salesforce (CRM) dashboard. You will use data to identify trends, forecast placement outcomes, and provide the Managing Director with transparent, real-time reports on team productivity.
  • Metric Excellence: Ensure the region consistently hits an 80% placement rate within 4 months of graduation while meeting or exceeding all revenue-based job attainment goals.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO USProfessional Qualifications
  • Strategic Leadership: 10+ years of experience in staffing, business development, or corporate recruitment, with at least 5 years leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Operational Sophistication: Proven ability to build and manage complex systems. You are an expert at mapping workflows and using data to drive operational efficiency.
  • High-Stakes Relationship Ownership and Management: A track record of operating at the "High-Level"-successfully influencing C-Suite stakeholders and navigating the procurement processes of large corporations.
  • IT Ecosystem Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the NY tech landscape and a nuanced understanding of hiring requirements for Cyber, Data, Software Engineering, AI, and Cloud roles.
Core Competencies
  • Systems & People Balancer: You have the emotional intelligence to lead a mission-driven team and the analytical mind to manage a rigorous, data-heavy operation.
  • Collaborative Influencer: You can navigate a matrixed organization, building consensus across departments to achieve shared placement goals.
  • Solution-Oriented: When a placement gap is identified, you don't just report it-you design the operational fix.
  • Mission Advocate: A fierce believer in the talent of our graduates and the economic necessity of tech-equity in New York City.
  • Enthusiastic Engager: You bring a sense of fun and enjoyment to the work, coupled with a strong sense of humor, which is key for fostering high-level relationships.
  • Strategic Persuader: You possess the "wooer" or "persuader" skill set needed to complement your operational awareness and capacity, driving successful outcomes and buy-in.
