POSITION SUMMARY:
Build and foster strong relationships with the regional hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand regional workforce needs and create tailored hiring strategies that align with business goals.
Attraction & Recruitment
  • Stay updated on the region's industry trends and best practices to enhance hiring effectiveness.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing channels (job boards, networking, agencies, referrals) to attract top talent.
  • Promote the company's brand by engaging with potential candidates and industry professionals.
  • Support hiring managers with opening job requisitions, and processing job postings.
  • Provide training to hiring managers on the use of recruitment policies, processes, systems, and tools, including offer negotiation skills and protocol.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters across multiple locations.
  • Assist hiring managers with screenings, interviews, and assess candidates to ensure alignment with job requirements and company culture
  • Ensure a smooth and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruiting and hiring processes.

  • Maintain compliance with employment laws, hiring policies, and company standards.

Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding of new team members by coordinating and completing administrative and system driven tasks that ensure a smooth and compliant employee experience.
  • Assist with preparing and processing offer letters
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements such as background checks, drug screenings, and Form I-9 completion, monitoring progress and escalating issues as needed.
  • Track onboarding tasks and timelines to ensure new hires are cleared to start on time, partnering with Talent Solutions team members, Hiring Managers and HR as appropriate.
  • Support offboarding activities by processing terminations in Workday
  • Serve as a point of contact for onboarding and offboarding questions, providing timely and professional communication to candidates and employees.
  • Follow established processes and checklists while learning best practices related to compliance, documentation and candidate experience.
  • Introduce new hires to Transwestern's company culture, values, benefits, and expectations by hosting bi-weekly New Hire Orientation (NHO).
  • Partner with HR Business Partners for all mergers, acquisitions and disposition activity.
  • Manage compliance for Contingent Workers within the region.
  • Manage unemployment process regionally, in coordination with HR Business Partners.
  • Process Verifications of Employment through third-party vendors.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment desired, preferably within a regional or multi-location setting.
  • Experience using ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other talent acquisition tools.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role or in a service-related capacity preferred.
  • Experience in commercial real estate, hospitality or investment services is preferred.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS); preferably Workday.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, recruitment compliance, and best practices, (federal and state level preferred).

Personal Skills:
  • Proficiency with managing multiple job requisitions, interviews, and follow-ups efficiently.
  • Ability to influence hiring decisions while balancing candidate and employer needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Physical Skills:
  • Ability to travel as necessary according to business needs.
