Job description

The Integrated Talent Development Systems (ITDS) team, part of Amazon Talent Solutions (ATS), is looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager to join the team in Seattle.
ITDS transforms and improves talent processes for corporate Amazonians - empowering them to focus on growth, invention, and customer impact while eliminating administrative burden. The team enables accurate and authentic evaluations, improves the quality of talent decisions, and strives to ensure that Amazon's most valued talent is recognized, developed, and retained. ITDS empowers Amazon managers with effective and streamlined capabilities to develop high-performing teams through talent evaluations, role and level transitions, and performance management. The systems ITDS builds are how Amazon makes its most consequential people decisions - and getting those decisions right, consistently, fairly, and at speed, is foundational to Amazon's ability to operate and grow.

You will own programs that no single team owns - connecting customer journeys across product boundaries, driving shared infrastructure adoption, and standing up the mechanisms that make a 100+ person organization operate cohesively. You will bring teams together, anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs against technical constraints.
This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, sees the system-level picture across multiple product areas, and has the technical depth to engage meaningfully with engineering teams on architecture, dependencies, and integration design.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
