Job description

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Staff Talent and People Analyst to join our People Analytics team. This role serves as the primary analytical partner for People and Talent Acquisition, providing data-driven insights that inform people and hiring strategy, workforce planning, and operational decision-making.

In this role, you will translate recruiting questions into clear analyses, build and maintain dashboards, and partner closely with Talent Operations, People Leadership, and Data Engineering to ensure recruiting data is accurate, well-modeled, and decision-ready.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the go-to analyst for all Talent and People-related data requests, including funnel performance, time-to-fill, offer acceptance, and recruiter capacity.
  • Build, maintain, and iterate on dashboards and recurring reporting used by Talent and People teams and business leaders.
  • Translate ambiguous or ad-hoc business questions into structured analyses with clear assumptions and methodology.
  • Partner with the Data Engineer to define requirements for recruiting data models and reporting tables.
  • Validate data accuracy and perform QA on datasets and dashboards.
  • Support Talent Operations on capacity planning, hiring prioritization, and workforce modeling.
  • Contribute to bespoke Talent and People projects that require analytical support, insight generation, or scenario analysis.
  • Ensure consistency in metric definitions and reporting logic across dashboards and analyses.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in analytics, talent analytics, people analytics, or a related function.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure and answer open-ended questions.
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets proficiency (complex formulas, pivots, modeling).
  • Strong SQL proficiency and comfort working with relational datasets.
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts (e.g., fact vs. dimension tables, star schema).
  • Experience using BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
  • Experience working with recruiting or ATS data (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever).
  • Python proficiency for analysis or automation.
  • Exposure to workforce planning, recruiter capacity modeling, or hiring efficiency analysis.
  • Experience partnering closely with data engineering teams.
