Talent Operations Specialist

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is the leading provider of industrial refrigeration and process cooling solutions, delivering custom engineered systems utilizing natural refrigerants such as ammonia and CO2. Through a fully integrated approach encompassing engineering, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, nationwide service, and advanced aftermarket solutions, Innovative supports customers across the food and beverage, cold storage, pharmaceutical, industrial manufacturing, and mission-critical infrastructure markets throughout North America and around the world.

Unlike traditional engineering firms, contractors, or equipment suppliers, Innovative performs engineering, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, service, and ongoing customer support entirely in-house. This integrated model provides employees the opportunity to support projects throughout the complete lifecycle, from concept and design through manufacturing, installation, startup, operation, optimization, modernization, and long-term system support.

  • Analyze recruiting performance, workforce trends, and operational metrics.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and departmental updates.
  • Conduct market research, compensation benchmarking, and organizational analysis.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.

Project Management

  • Manage Talent department projects from planning through completion.
  • Coordinate project timelines, priorities, and stakeholder communication.
  • Maintain department project plans utilizing ClickUp or similar project management software.
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule while balancing changing business priorities.
  • Facilitate meetings, document action items, and drive project accountability.

Talent Programs

  • Support university recruiting, apprenticeship, internship, and workforce development initiatives.
  • Coordinate career fairs, recruiting events, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Assist with implementation of leadership development and employee engagement programs.
  • Support recruiting operations through interview process improvements, documentation, and reporting.
  • Research industry best practices and recommend operational improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop documentation and training materials supporting Talent initiatives.
  • Partner with leaders throughout the organization to improve cross-functional processes.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.

The salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 dependent on experience

Qualifications

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience analyzing data and presenting findings to support business decisions.

Preferred

  • Experience in management consulting, business consulting, business operations, strategy, or continuous improvement.
