  • The Talent Development & Manager plays a pivotal role in building and maintaining a talented, engaged, and high-performing workforce that champions employee growth. This position blends recruitment expertise with a passion for learning and development, ensuring we attract top talent and empower them to thrive. The ideal candidate is a dynamic HR professional with a keen understanding of talent acquisition and employee engagement best practices.


Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to meet current and future staffing needs.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment consisting of: sourcing, phone screening, interviewing, preparing offer letters, onboarding, and compliance training.
  • Attend and coordinate career fairs and other recruiting events.
  • Regularly produce creative recruiting activities to attract qualified applicants and enhance employer branding.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to anticipate hiring needs and build talent pipelines.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruiting reports.
  • Create and monitor retention strategies, including employee development, engagement, and recognition programs.
  • Monitor employee performance trends and recommend development strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with current employment partners and build new partnerships
  • Negotiate pricing on new contracts.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop internal candidates for promotions and transfers.
  • Create employee surveys and use data to suggest improvements.
  • Conduct employment compensation market analysis for all job descriptions.
  • Coordinate monthly formal new hire orientation program to introduce new hires to the company.
  • Develop and manage internal employee referral program.
  • Manage employer branding initiatives to position the organization as a desirable place to work.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal HR policies.
  • Utilize HR systems and analytics to track hiring metrics, analyze turnover trends and implement data-driven solutions to improve retention.
  • Provide administrative support in HR functions in all matters (including payroll and special projects).

Qualifications:

  • Must be fluent in speaking, reading and writing English and Spanish
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in recruitment, HR management, organizational development, employee relations, or people operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
  • Proven success in developing recruitment strategies and retention programs.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Creative mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to meet with potential employment partners, attend career fairs, recruitment events, when required (which could involve overnights on occasion - travel estimated up to 20%)
  • Valid Driverโ€™s license and reliable transportation

  • Experience working in manufacturing,
