Title:Talent Acquisition Specialist - Winchester
Location:Clayton, MO
Additional Locations: Independence, MO (Kansas City, MO Area)

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available up to 1 day remote per week

Focus:As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll drive the hiring strategies that fuel Winchester’s business goals. You’ll lead full‑cycle recruitment for key roles, build strong partnerships with leaders, and deliver proactive sourcing solutions that strengthen our workforce today and for the future.

Talent Acquisition Specialist Essential Job Functions
  • Oversees the full recruiting lifecycle from intake to hire, focusing on candidate experience, quality of hire, and process improvement.

  • Partners with Hiring Managers and HR Partners across locations to shape an engaging hiring process, provide market insights, and offer data-based recommendations that challenge assumptions.

  • Builds qualified, diverse pipelines through sourcing, networking, and relationship building, proactively pursuing innovative sourcing strategies and community partnerships.

  • Maintains and updates the applicant tracking system and job files in compliance with hiring policies.

  • Completes Affine Action data roll‑up for external hires and internal competitive moves.

  • Supports on‑campus recruiting efforts and manages assigned intern/co‑op processes, leader communication, and engagement to grow Winchester’s campus hiring program.

Talent Acquisition Specialist Minimum Requirements
  • Must meet one of the following requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years recent and relevant experience; OR,

    • Bachelor’s/master’s degree* (Human Resources or Business discipline preferred) with 2+ years recent and relevant experience.

  • Full-cycle recruiting experience including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring exempt candidates; manufacturing/industrial recruiting strongly preferred.

  • Experience with an OFCCP‑regulated employer and/or knowledge of OFCCP regulations strongly preferred.

  • Experience with Workday as an ATS strongly preferred.

  • Strong client relationship skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and represent Winchester professionally.

  • Able to manage competing priorities, communicate effectively, and multi-task efficiently.

  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time and possess a valid US driver’s license.
