The Assurance Learning and Development (L&D) Senior Manager will support the development pillar's vision of driving value to our people, business and clients by fostering a culture of continuous learning. The Assurance L&D Senior Manager is responsible for formulating, recommending and executing a strategic plan for Assurance technical and business skills development.

  • Identify, build, and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including the business, HC, and ASR partner sponsors

  • Develop and execute strategic learning plans aligned with Assurance business strategy and L&D priorities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of Assurance training and required course content

  • Leverage innovative approaches and educational technologies to enhance learning programs

  • Assess learning and performance needs, and determine effective strategies for delivery and evaluation

  • Coach, manage, and develop Assurance L&D program managers and other team members

  • Prepare, manage, and account for project budgets related to L&D initiatives

  • Research and apply best practices and thought leadership in adult learning theory

  • Oversee and organize instructor briefings, instructor skills training, and train-the-trainer events

  • Represent L&D in various committees, meetings, and workstreams, sharing ideas and best practices from the PwC Assurance Global Network

The salary range for this position is $101,300-151,300. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
