Job description

Ziegler CAT is seeking a detail oriented, customer focused Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support our Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, and candidates throughout the entire recruiting process. This role plays a key part in creating a smooth, positive experience for both internal and external applicants while ensuring our hiring processes run efficiently and accurately. If you enjoy helping people, staying organized, and being at the center of a fast moving talent operation, this is a great opportunity to build a career in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources. This position will work in-office at either our Altoona, IA or Bloomington, MN location, Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with hiring managers to create and submit job requisitions in our Applicant Tracking System (Workday)
  • Coordinate all pre-employment screening for external candidates, including drug screens, physicals, Physical Abilities Tests, and background checks
  • Support branch managers with internal employee background and drug testing required by customer agreements
  • Manage job postings on internal and external job boards and support advertising needs for the TA team
  • Track advertising costs and assist with processing related invoices
  • Coordinate and manage the summer help hiring process in partnership with hiring managers
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming calls, answering candidate questions or directing them appropriately
  • Assist internal candidates with questions about the hiring process
  • Communicate with vendors (Accurate Background, DISA, Workday/Mercer, Indeed, and clinics) to resolve issues, follow up on open items, and ensure smooth processes
  • Schedule phone screens and in-person interviews with candidates for the talent acquisition team
  • Maintain and update job aids and process documentation for vendor systems
  • Collaborate effectively with Ziegler employees, supervisors, HR team members, and external partners
  • Support reporting needs related to staffing and employment

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience with a high school diploma or GED
  • Strong customer service mindset and ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Interest in building a career in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources

The pay range for this position is
$23.29 to $27.91
Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant's location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
