Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator - Trades supports the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and talent pipeline efforts across the U.S, for our Craft Workforce Development team.
At DPR Construction and our Family of Companies, we are on a mission to hire the best and brightest talent to help shape the future of our company. You will be a key player in this mission by ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates from their initial contact to their onboarding. You will be the face of the recruitment process, making sure that each candidate feels valued and informed throughout their journey.
This role is responsible for helping manage the full recruiting coordination process for craft, including but not limited to: Building requisitions, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, maintaining accurate candidate records, coordinating offers, processing referrals and supporting onboarding activities. You will partner with recruiters, hiring managers, field operations, HR, and external workforce groups to help attract and hire qualified craft professionals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and comfortable supporting a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruiting Coordination & Candidate Support-
* Coordinate recruiting activities for skilled trades and construction craft positions across multiple projects, regions, and business units.
* Schedule interviews, hiring events, candidate assessments, orientation sessions, and follow-up conversations.
* Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and field leaders across multiple locations throughout the U.S.
* Communicate with candidates throughout the recruiting process, including scheduling, follow-ups, offer coordination, onboarding instructions, and general candidate support.
* Conduct initial candidate screenings when needed to confirm interest, availability, qualifications, work history, and basic role requirements.
* Support recruiters and hiring managers throughout the hiring process to ensure a smooth and timely candidate experience.
Requisition & ATS Management-
* Build, open, update, and maintain job requisitions in the applicant tracking system.
* Ensure candidates are moved accurately through each stage of the recruiting process.
* Maintain accurate candidate records, requisition updates, interview notes, hiring activity, and recruiting documentation.
* Perform accurate and timely data-entry related to requisitions, candidates, hiring activity, offers, and onboarding status.
* Track recruiting activity and provide updates on candidate flow, requisition status, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring progress.
Offer, Onboarding & Pre-Employment Coordination-
* Prepare and send candidate offers in coordination with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR.
* Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, certifications, badging, onboarding paperwork, and related documentation.
* Partner with HR and onboarding teams to help ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
* Monitor offer status, onboarding completion, and pending candidate requirements.
Team & Operations Support-
* Assist with employee referral program coordination and workforce engagement initiatives.
* Support continuous improvement efforts related to recruiting operations, candidate experience, reporting accuracy, and hiring process efficiency.
* Travel to project sites, schools, hiring events, workforce development events, and recruiting initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:
* Associate degree or equivalent experience in recruiting, human resources, workforce development, business administration, construction operations, or a related field preferred.
* 2-4 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR support, staffing, workforce development, administrative support, or construction operations preferred.
* Experience supporting high-volume hiring, skilled trades recruiting, construction recruiting, or field-based hiring preferred.
* Experience building and maintaining requisitions in an applicant tracking system preferred.
* Experience sourcing candidates through multiple recruiting tools, job boards, databases, or social media platforms preferred.
* Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, requisitions, and candidate pipelines at the same time.
* Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, field employees, and leadership teams.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.
* Ability to maintain confidential information and handle candidate data with professionalism.
* Bilingual communication skills are preferred. (English/Spanish)
* Experience supporting construction, industrial, manufacturing, skilled trades, or field craft recruiting.
* Familiarity with union and non-union workforce environments.

Work Environment:
* Combination of office, field, and active construction project environments.
* Frequent interaction with candidates, craft employees, recruiters, hiring managers, HR teams, and field leadership.
* May require visits to active construction sites, hiring events, schools, and workforce development events.
* Regional or occasional travel may be required based on hiring and workforce needs.
* May require occasional lifting of recruiting materials and event equipment up to 25 pounds.

* Timely and accurate requisition creation and maintenance.
* Accurate candidate movement through each recruiting phase.
* Quality of candidate communication and candidate experience.
* Interview scheduling efficiency across multiple business units.
* Accuracy of ATS data, reports, and onboarding documentation.
* Timely offer coordination and pre-employment follow-up.
* Support of recruiting goals, workforce pipeline development, and hiring manager satisfaction.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Salary is just one component of DPR's total compensation package.

Atlanta, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee range: $46,000 to $67,000. Texas and Colorado: $50,600 to $73,700
