Alpha Public Schools is a public charter school network of four schools educating approximately 1,900 scholars in east San Jose. A successful Talent Acquisition Associate: 

The successful Talent Acquisition Associate is passionate about working with school leaders, network leaders, and staff across Alpha Public Schools. In this role, you will play a key part in attracting and recruiting top talent who will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional education. You will work closely with Alpha leaders to understand staffing needs, implement effective recruitment strategies, and ensure a seamless hiring process. The successful Talent Acquisition Associate is relationship-oriented, adept at managing multiple tasks with high attention to detail, and believes deeply in the mission of Alpha Public Schools. This role is based out of our San Jose, CA office on a hybrid schedule.

The Talent Acquisition Associate will:

  • Promote Alpha's staff culture, mindsets, and values internally and externally as an enthusiastic ambassador of the organization through efforts such as active involvement in LinkedIn and building partnerships
  • Own full-cycle recruiting (sourcing, application screening, interviewing, coordinating final interview schedules) for the roles 
  • Use Alpha's applicant tracking system (ATS) with fidelity to ensure all information is updated and current, providing user support as needed
  • Ensure Alpha's job opportunities are posted on Alpha's website all priority job boards
  • Select and attend recruitment events such as career fairs and networking events, and proactively seek out other network-building opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager and Talent team
