Memorial Rehabilitation Institute provides highly specialized care ranging from complex multiple trauma, stroke and brain injury to physical and speech therapy. Inpatient care is offered at Memorial Regional Hospital South, with outpatient care available in five different locations. We also have a home health team and resources for long-term care at Memorial Manor, while also offering therapy for pediatric developmental diagnosis through Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.

Summary:

Supervises daily operations activities for Rehabilitative Services.

Responsibilities:

Facilitates process improvement initiatives, improved outcomes and increased safety in alignment with departmental goals.Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.Performs staff responsibilities, as needed, to fulfill required service levels.Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols.Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing and patient assignments and levels.
