Job Description (including duties, skills, education): Need a developer NOT an Analyst At least 3 years of recent experience in Tableau dev Last contract should be Tableau dev

Duties: Designs, develops, conducts unit testing and maintains complex Tableau reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use. Provides technical expertise in areas of architecture, design, and implementation. Determines the best implementation that will meet the design of the architect. Works with team members to create useful reports and dashboards that provide insight, improve/automate processes, or otherwise add value to team. Works through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations. Sets and adheres to software coding and style guides to ensure consistency. Resolves support tickets related to Tableau reports.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Minimum 3+ years of experience with Tableau Business Intelligence. Extensive experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administrator/architecture. Advanced Tableau development skills required. Knowledge of when to blend vs. join data sources; pros & cons of each. Understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functions. Ability to query and display large data sets while maximizing performance of workbook. A solid understanding of SQL, relational database management system, data modeling and normalization Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications. High level competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.) Strong verbal and writing skills required Excellent team player
