Job description

Role: Tableau Tech Lead

Work Location: Alameda CA

Duration: Contract to hire / TE

Experience: 10 to max 20

Mandatory - need summary on pharma or Life Science and commercial exp

Educational Qualification*

BE / MCA / Any Master degree in Computer Science

Primary (Must have skills)*

a) Tableau Reporting tools
b) Handling multiple sources structured and semi structured
c) SQL
d) Experience in Life Science Pharma & Commercial Operations domain (Key ask for the position)

Secondary Skills (Good To have)*

a) Knowledge on AWS and/or Azure services
b) Knowledge on ETL tools
c) Visulization tools like Qlikview , Power BI etc

Job Description of Role* (RNR)
(Mandatory - Minimum 500 words)

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for working with onsite teams and handle Tableau Design, Develop and Deploy the reports
Convert the business requirements into design
Identify source tables and prepare the data for report by writing complex Views or SP's.
Experience with data blending and data joining to create necessary data structures within Tableau from multiple data sources
Experience with interactive features such as quick filters and parameter driven interactivity, techniques to handle Pivot logics
Experience of advanced Tableau topics such as complex field calculations, table calculations and Level-of-Detail expressions
Experience in publishing dashboards on tableau server with complex security requirements.
Managing Tableau Server
Expertise with SQL queries data modeling
Performances optimization of data model and Tableau reports
Knowledge in embedding the report in third party applications and licenses factors
