Your tasks include creating technical solutions, developing data storage tools, and conducting rigorous testing to ensure the reliability of Tableau dashboards and reports. To excel in this role, you should have a solid understanding of the business technology landscape, the ability to create impactful reports, and strong analytical and SQL skills. While you will mainly work on team supporting an external project for a client in the public sector, you may also support projects internal to the company. The Developer will:• Develop and maintain interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.• Design and implementing data models and ETL processes using SQL to prepare data for analysis in Tableau.• Create data visualizations, charts, and graphs to communicate insights and trends.• Troubleshoot issues with Tableau reports and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.• Keep up-to-date with Tableau best practices, updates, and new features to enhance reporting capabilities.Required Qualifications• 5+ years of experience in Tableau development, dashboard design, and data visualization. • 5+ years of experience in SQL for cleaning, transforming, and performing complex calculations on large datasets.• Expertise in advanced Tableau features, including LOD expressions, table calculations, data blending, and performance tuning. • Experience working with data warehouses (Redshift preferred). • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. • Knowledge of ETL tools (dbt preferred) and data transformation methodologies. • Experience integrating Tableau with APIs, cloud platforms, and third-party data sources. • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate data-driven insights effectively.
