Job description


Aerospace Company based in Bloomfield is seeking highly motivated and results driven Bandsaw/Shear/Cut-Off Saw Operator to join our growth oriented and forward thinking team of professionals.
Bandsaw/Shear/Cut-Off Saw Operator should be able to efficiently pull, move and load material on machine table. Record and fill out proper paper work to meet customers requirement as well as following all internal procedures. Candidatewill be required to process the following activities.
Responsibilities include the following.
Must be able to read and understand work instructions (In English )
Effectively communicate with shop floor supervisor and production control manager
Perform machine set-ups
Perform daily maintenance on equipment.
Produce quality parts and verify them for accuracy.
Inspect parts and Perform adjustments as required
Run multiple machines
Safely drive a fork lift
Maintain a clean work environment
Clean all tools and machines at end of shift
Report any non-conformances to shop floor supervisor immediately
Turn off all equipment at end of shift
Qualifications and Skill Requirements
2 or more years of Bandsaw/Shear machine tool experience in a manufacturing environment
Read and understand blueprints
Detailed with good decision skills to meet customers demand
Work with Shop Floor Supervisor for suggesting improvements
Capable of lifting 40 pounds frequently
Capable of working in a noisy environment.
Capable of working extra hours
Highly Desirable
Experience working for metal fabrication and/or machining companies in a low volume/high mix environment
