Dealers can manage these challenges by staying organized, relying on established casino procedures, and supporting each other as a team to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience.

What Does a Table Games Dealer Do?

As a table games dealer, you manage games like poker at a casino. You may explain the rules of each game to new players, provide tips during gameplay, and deal out cards or chips as required. You often compare hands or bets, announce winners, inspect equipment to ensure compliance with gaming standards, and report any problems to floor supervisors. Some table games dealers specialize in certain games while others run different games as required by patron interest. Fulfilling the responsibilities and duties of this job requires interpersonal skills, attention to detail, excellent eyesight, and the ability to memorize the rules for different gambling games.
