Deal assigned games and provide customer service in accordance with established policies and procedures

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proficient in English verbal and written
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Prior Table Games and/or Poker dealing experience required or has attended Horseshoe Dealing School
  • Must possess strong money handling and documentation skills
  • 2-3 months casino experience is preferred
  • Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission, with access to the vessel required

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Visually acuity-distinguish colors, shapes etc
  • Ability to have professional interactions with guests.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and push objects up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, reach, twist, and stretch repeatedly.
  • Must be able to tolerate exposure to bright/flashing lights
  • Ability to tolerate fast-paced, high pressure environment
  • Must be able to work in a seated/standing/walking position for extended periods
  • Must be able to tolerate large crowds/high traffic
  • Ability to tolerate temperature variations
  • Must be able to communicate in a loud environment.
  • Ability to work in a smoking and noisy environment

HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY

  • Open game at assigned table, count contents, verify count with closing list, inspect cards or dice and sign off with supervisor.
  • Deal Table games and/or Live Poker, payout winnings, exchange currency for chips and inform guests of game rules.
  • Change over deck of cards or dice, inspect and mix cards.
  • Verify bank roll fills with the supervisor and security personnel.
  • Ensure protection of game; maintain continuous inspection of cards or dice, ensure betting in compliance with gate rules and minimums set.
  • Close game, sort cards, balance rack, count chips, and sign off with the supervisor.
  • Assist guests with questions on casino activities or refer to appropriate personnel.
  • Must have excellent guest service skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • ROP: $7.50+ per hour ($9 minimum per hour with Craps or 4 major games), based on game knowledge + Tips (approximately $17-$20 per hour)
