Job description

Solvarus Consulting is dedicated to solving the toughest challenges facing the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. Join our team of experienced engineers in the development and institutionalization of a Digital Engineering environment set to confront these challenges. As a member of the Verification, Validation and Transition (VV&T) team you will be responsible for technical support of the planning and execution of enterprise and system-level verification, validation and transition activities for national assets, associated ground segments and services, and information processing systems within the enterprise.

Duties include:
ย 

ย  ย  ย * Evaluation of architecture, requirements, risks and opportunities, and processes for
ย  ย  ย  ย VV&T impacts.
ย  ย  ย *ย Definition of VV&T activities and associated VV&T products (e.g., strategies, plans,
ย  ย  ย  ย Requests for Change (RFC), procedures, checklists, RVTMs, briefings, etc.) for new
ย  ย  ย ย  and modified mission and service capabilities.
ย  ย  * Lead or support the execution of those VV&T activities (e.g., Test events, Transitions,
ย  ย  ย ย  Milestone Readiness Events).
ย  ย  * Prepare reports describing the results, risk assessment, discrepancy reporting, and
ย  ย  ย  lessons learned of those VV&T activities.
ย  ย ย * Facilitate technical meetings to coordinate, and support VV&T activities and milestones.

Qualifications:


ย  ย ย * Verification, Validation and Transition (VV&T) experience within the overall customer
ย  ย  ย  domain.
ย  ย * Strong business acumen: ability to relate professionally inside the work environment.
ย  ย * Detailed knowledge of GEOINT systems and overall space and ground architecture.
ย  ย  ย Expertise mission technical capabilities and system performance analysis.
ย  *ย  Experience with Mission Planning, Control or Processing functions in support of spaceย  ย  ย  ย  ย and ground architecture.
ย  *ย  Experience writing test strategies, plans, procedures, and checklists.
ย  *ย  Experience executing tests, analyzing data, and summarizing results.
ย  *ย  Experience in system integration and transition approaches.
ย 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Systems Integration and VV&T.
  • Experience with GEOINT, space andย ground systems and services, and/or mission operations.
  • Working knowledge of commercial imagery.
