SYSTEMS/TEST ENGINEER
The Systems/Test Engineer will provide engineering expertise to upgrade and modernize SATCOM systems for our DoD customer at Ft. Belvoir, VA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, and documentation of very complex applications that require a thorough knowledge of administrative and technical skills.
- Directs and participates in all phases of system development, with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, testing and acceptance phases (IV&V and DT&E).
- Applies higher-level business or technical principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at automated engineering solutions.
- Develops and maintains earth terminal acceptance and equipment test plans.
- Supports spectrum supportability requirements for satellite terminal and modem equipment.
- Prepares and submits spectrum management data, frequency requests, and host nation approval requests.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience & Master's degree in related field;Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience & Master's degree in related field;Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience & Master's degree in related field; or
- Minimum of 7 years of applicable experience & Bachelor's degree in related field; or
- Minimum of 9 years of applicable experience & Bachelor's degree in any field

COMPENSATION

The estimated annual wage range at the time of job posting is $75-130k, which represents the typical salary range for this position.
