Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support for a wide range of desktop and laptop hardware and software issues. You will work closely with other IT team members and assist in the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktop and laptop computers, peripherals, and software. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and effectively communicating technical solutions to non-technical users.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for desktop and laptop hardware and software issues, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  1. Assist in the deployment and maintenance of desktop and laptop computers, peripherals, and software
  1. Perform in-depth troubleshooting and problem resolution, including root cause analysis, to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  1. Work closely with other IT team members to resolve technical issues and improve processes
  1. Provide excellent customer service and effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical users
  1. Participate in the development and implementation of technical policies, procedures, and best practices
  1. Participate in the development and maintenance of technical documentation
  1. Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  1. 4+ years of experience in desktop support or a related field
  1. Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems and applications
  1. Experience with hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  1. Experience with network and infrastructure support
  1. Excellent customer service and communication skills
  1. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  1. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  1. Must be a highly motivated individual
  1. Certification in A+ and/or Network+ is a plus
