What does this role look like?
As a Systems Integration and Test Engineer on
the Space Based Infrared System program you
will:
Work on software integration projects that will
vary from satellite command and control
software, to satellite payload sensor
management software, to mission specific
software, to ground hardware & network control
software
Integrate into a small, high-performing team
Review and evaluate test requirements to
ensure completeness of test program
Author formal test procedures,
standard operating procedures, and data reports
Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain
solutions for the integration and testing
components, elements, subsystems, and
systems
Establish functional and technical specifications
and standards, solves hardware/software
interface problems, defines input/output
parameters, and ensures integration of the entire
system or subsystem
Review, evaluate, and derive requirements for
testability, develop and direct preparation and
execution of comprehensive test plans,
procedures and schedules for complete systems
and/or subsystems
Perform analysis of test results and prepares
comprehensive subsystem and/or system level
evaluation reports which verify and validate
system performance
Write discrepancy reports and performs
integration regression testing to verify/validate
incorporated fixes to software, components,
subsystems, and systems
Relentlessly pursue continuous improvement,
emphasize outcomes over metrics, and be a
good teammate
Be able to interpret complex system
requirements
